Important Information

Our primary concern is always the health and safety of our students
and faculty, even more during these unprecedented times.

This year we are offering an online option as well as in studio. We have a number of in studio rules and regulations that must be adhered to in order to safely run TDI 2020.
TDI will be following guidelines as set out by the Irish Ballet Teachers Association (IBTA).

  • Temperature will be taken before entering the studio. Anyone with elevated temperature will be asked to return home. Students asked to return home may still partake in the classes online.
  • On entering and leaving the building, students are required to use hand sanitiser.
  • Students must arrive dressed in dance clothes under street clothes.
  • Two meter distance is to be maintained between students, unless the government guidelines are changed.
  • The wearing of a face covering is recommended for ages 12 plus. Students must have a plastic bag to seal used masks. 3 masks per day are recommended.
  • There will be at least a 15 minute break in-between classes so that barres can be wiped with disinfectant, and the room can be aired.
  • Students are requested to bring their own bottles of water to class. They will also require lunch and snacks to be brought from home as they MUST stay on site until the end of the day.
  • There will be no physical corrections this year. Teacher will demonstrate on themselves or other teachers, and may use anatomical drawings for illustration.
  • We suggest that each student has their own small pack of tissues, small antibacterial hand sanitiser and small hand towel.
  • Arrival, breaks and departure will be staggered between groups to ease any congestion.
